Queens Gambit Named Nonprofit of the Game for Pittsburgh Pirates on July 23

Queens Gambit is proud to announce its selection as the Nonprofit of the Game for the Pittsburgh Pirates on July 23, marking the organization's second consecutive year in this esteemed role. As part of this partnership, a portion of the proceeds raised during the game will be dedicated to supporting Queens Gambit's mission to empower youth through chess education and leadership development.

Queens Gambit, founded by Ashley Lynn Priore, is a national nonprofit dedicated to harnessing the strategic and intellectual benefits of chess to cultivate the next generation of leaders. Since its inception, Queens Gambit has been committed to making chess accessible to youth from all backgrounds, promoting critical thinking skills, resilience, and community engagement.

"We are thrilled and honored to be selected once again as the Nonprofit of the Game by the Pittsburgh Pirates," said Ashley Lynn Priore, Founder and CEO of Queens Gambit. "This partnership not only highlights the power of chess to transform lives but also enables us to expand our programs and reach even more young people in our community."

The Pittsburgh Pirates' Nonprofit of the Game initiative recognizes and supports local organizations that make a positive impact in the Pittsburgh community. Through this collaboration, Queens Gambit aims to raise awareness about the importance of chess as an educational tool and its role in fostering strategic thinking and leadership skills among youth.

Attendees of the game on July 23 will have the opportunity to learn more about Queens Gambit's programs and watch the Pirates battle the Cardinals. The event promises to be an inspiring celebration of chess, community, and youth empowerment.
