We are delighted to announce the appointment of three distinguished professionals to the Queens Gambit Board of Directors: Emily Francis, Amy Hart, and Marie Pelloni. Emily Francis brings a wealth of experience from her role as the Director of the Greater Pittsburgh Nonprofit Partnership at The Forbes Funds, an organization dedicated to supporting nonprofit entities in the Pittsburgh region. Her extensive background in nonprofit management and capacity-building will be instrumental in guiding Queens Gambit's strategic growth and community outreach efforts.
Amy Hart serves as the President & CEO of the Center for Hearing & Deaf Services, where she has been a steadfast advocate for individuals who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, or Hard of Hearing (HH). Her deep understanding of accessibility and inclusion aligns perfectly with our mission to create equitable opportunities for all youth, ensuring that our programs are accessible and impactful.
Marie Pelloni is the Senior Director of Talent and Workforce Development Initiatives at Pittsburgh Technology Council, an organization that champions technological innovation and economic development in the region. Her insights into the tech industry and workforce development will provide Queens Gambit with a forward-thinking perspective, enhancing our programs that prepare youth for future challenges.
